Television and radio host Larry King said Friday the windows of his rental car in Washington, D.C. were smashed by violent rioters protesting the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
“Protestors in DC smashed the windows of my hired SUV & many other cars. I was working in-studio & am ok, but my driver is a bit rattled,” he tweeted.

The incident involving King’s vehicle came amid reports of rioters who took to the streets after Donald Trump’s inauguration, with some demonstrators smashing windows, lighting fires, and blocking checkpoints.
The 83-year-old veteran broadcaster hosts two shows — “Larry King Now” and “PoliticKING with Larry King” — on his Ora.TV network. He also appears on RT America.
Cops arrested at least 217 rioters who clashed with police in and around the nation’s capital following Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 45th president.
At least six police officers were injured during the mayhem, three of them were hit in the head by flying objects, according to DC Police Chief Peter Newsham.
